• Account and Registration Data: Email address, registered username, and encrypted passwords. If you sign in using third-party auth (Google, Apple), we collect profile markers authorized by you.
• App Usage & Progress: Your audio playback progress, bookmarks, quizzes completed, correct/incorrect score rates, active streaks, and LP earned.
• AI Interaction Logs: Chat logs, suggestions, and user messages sent to StickWise AI to maintain conversation context.
• Device & Technical Diagnostics: IP address, device model name, operating system version, browser tags, network type, and application crash log records.

2. Information Use

We utilize the collected information to operate, customize, and secure the Traudio application ecosystem:

• Service Management: Syncing your reading progress, managing sessions, and enabling StickWise AI features.
• Account Personalization: Calculating leaderboard stats, awarding badges, and tailoring AI advice based on your experience level.
• Billing & Subscriptions: Processing payments and managing subscription status for VIP plans.
• Customer Care & Safety: Responding to suggestions, verifying security reports, and resolving system bugs.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Under global data protection regulations (such as GDPR and CCPA), we process your data on the following bases:

• Contract Performance: Providing services outlined in the Terms of Service.
• User Consent: Specific permissions you grant (e.g. notifications or storage access).
• Legal Compliance: Retaining financial records, invoices, and accounting compliance data.
• Legitimate Interests: Improving application performance, preventing fraud, and optimizing features.

4. Data Sharing & Third-Parties

We never sell your personal information. We only share data with essential processors to maintain Traudio's operations:

• Cloud Infrastructure: Supabase Inc. (Database hosting, file storage, and secure authentication).
• Store & Payment Gateways: Apple App Store Billing & Google Play Billing for subscription management.
• AI Companion Logic: Text inputs are processed securely and anonymously via OpenAI/Anthropic API endpoints to run StickWise AI.
• Legal Warrants: We may disclose data if required by binding courts or law enforcement requests.

5. Data Security & Retention

Your security is our absolute priority. We implement robust, state-of-the-art protections:

• Data Transmission: All client-to-server traffic is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols.
• Credentials Encryption: Passwords are hashed with industry-standard bcrypt cryptographies; we never store raw passwords.
• Retention: Personal data is kept only as long as your account is active. Once deleted, all personal records, progress, and chats are permanently erased. Invoice logs are stored separately for legal periods.

6. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You have full control over your personal records under international privacy standards:

• Rights of Access & Portability: Request details of collected records or request data exports.
• Rights of Rectification & Erasure: Modify incorrect display profiles or delete your account.
• Account Deletion: You can delete your account and wipe all stored data at any time. To request deletion directly inside the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Alternatively, request deletion via our web portal. Refer to the Account Deletion Guide for step-by-step instructions.

7. Children's Privacy

Traudio does not intentionally target or collect information from children under the age of 13. If we discover a child under 13 has registered an account without verified guardian consent, we will take immediate steps to terminate the account and purge all related data from our servers.
